NETWORKING OPPORTUNITY FOR A TBM PRACTITONER

"I am looking for a female over 40 who understands the intricacies of stress and how it affects us as we age. My target audience is between 35 and 55. Someone who understands the adrenal aspects, hormonal changes and nutrition. How they all play on each other. We will be outsourcing gut microbiome tests for those who enroll so they will come in with an understanding of what foods are helpful and which ones are not. I am also very interested in this person having a knowledge of the MTHFR gene mutation and its role in methylation as this affects anxiety and other brain function...I would need her to show up on a weekly call answering questions for the group. Time and day is up to her."

Dr. Millet is currently offering free business coaching to a lay TBM practitioner and a physician-level TBM practitioner each Wednesday (See Line section below). The current physician-level practitioner is requiring less attention and it is creating an opening to begin with someone new.

Qualifications are that the practitioner must be either a licensed primary care provider (e.g.  chiropractor, naturopath, osteopath, medical doctor, nurse practitioner, physicians assistant); be practicing full-time or transitioning to a full-time practice; trained in TBM (degree of training can be flexible but complete training as an objective); be available each Wednesday at 10:30am US-Pacific for a 30 minute video-conference, and open to receiving guidance and putting in the work to grow a practice at an accelerated rate.

LABELING ERROR NOTICE: CARBIDOPA (& LEVODOPA) VIALS - WARRANTY APPLIES

A labeling error has recently come to my attention in the recent productions of our Medication -Other vial set. The CORRECT labeling is Carbidopa (Lodosyn), however it was ERRONEOUSLY previously labeled as either Carbidopa (L-Dopa) or Carbidopa-levodopa(Sinemet).

In Neurotransmitters, Hormones & Cytokines I vial set there is a vial named DOPA(Levodopa), it was previously named, simply, Dopa.

In Alive! 2018 - Medication - General vial set we have Levodopa & Benserazide (Madopar).

In the forthcoming Alive! 2025 vial set will be a vial named Carbidopa & Levodopa (Sinemet). Itis currently only available as an individual vial.

If you own our Medication - Other, you may simply make the correction direction on the label with a pen, however we will happily provide for you a Carbidopa (Lodosyn) label AND a Carbidopa & Levodopa (Sinemet) individual vial, in addition, for only the cost of shipping. COGITATIO PARASITUS VS. THINKING PARASITE CLARIFICATION

A few years ago an "Harmonization of Thinking Parasite" vial charging card was found in theTBM Archives. We chose to include the discovered vial, even though we already had a Cogitatio Parasitus in our Fundamental vial set, in our Alive! 2021 - Miscellaneous vial set.

The two vials behave differently. The Cogitatio Parasitus vial operates as a Program vial and is part of the Basic Immunological Exam while the Thinking Parasite (Cogitatio Parasitus) as an Harmonization vial and is solely run off of the Menu.

We apologize for any confusion some of you may have experienced and wanted to provide this clarification. Please let us know if you have any questions.

NEW MEDICATION RESOURCES NOW AVAILABLE

In our last issue we introduced hundreds of new medication vials in our Alive! 2023 vial sets. Additionally, we published a blog by Dr. Millet titled "Pharmaceutical Death Spiral," which we have republished below in case you missed it. At the end of his blog Dr. Millet mentioned TBM's Medication Visit and encouraged those who did not have a copy of the TBM Compendium ("The Big Book") fully describing it to contact the TBM office and the most essential pages would be provided free-of-charge.

In the interim, after Dr. Millet completed several Medication sessions and realizing that they can be quite laborious and time-consuming, he created several new documents to make the visit more efficient. CALCIUM REVISITED

I was recently asked in a Line message what I thought of an article warning against calcium if one is diabetic. I'm going to comment before looking at the study(ies). Here it is if you'd like to take a gander.

Serious Risks for Diabetics: New Study Reveals

First off, in TBM we don't work with diabetics for very long. Diabetes doesn't survive the proper application of TBM. Therefore, if the hypothesis that supplementing a diabetic with calcium was problematic I wouldn't really care.
Secondly, I've found clinically that calcium supplementation is critical in resolving diabetes.

Thirdly, the levels of calcium we've recommended in TBM have been applied by 10s of thousands of practitioners around the world with no reported ill effect for nearly half a century.

I'm now going to look at the study(ies) and will comment on them, but before I do I see in the second paragraph they bring up the alleged connection with calcium supplementation and adverse cardiac events. I've addressed this earlier in the TBM Calcium Brief. I published in 2015. I've not updated the document since then so I'll be curious if any new findings need to be considered. I refer you to the Calcium and Heart Disease subsection in Review of Research in the brief. I will share it below. Be sure to save a local copy as Line pdfs only stay available for a few days.

So the study (see below) showed a correlation (not causation) of individuals who participated in the UK Biobank project who answered (self-reportedly) "yes" to the question, "Do you regularly take [calcium]?" AND also "self-reported medical history and medication information(diagnosis, age of diagnosis, diabetes type, diabetes medications, and diabetes complications)or glycated hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) $6.5% at baseline" were "significantly associated with higher risks of cardiovascular (CVD) incidence, CVD mortality, and all-cause mortality." The authors also stated that "no significant association was observed in participants without diabetes."

WHAT ARE THE NUMBERS?

CVD incidence: 5.6% w/o diabetes, 14.6% w/diabetes
CVD mortality: 0.8% w/o diabetes, 3.0% w/diabetes
All-cause mortality: 4.4% w/o diabetes, 11.1% w/diabetes

Curiously, "[Those] who used calcium supplements...were more likely to be older, female, nonsmokers, and nonalcohol drinkers; tended to use other supplements; and had a higher prevalence of osteoporosis, healthier eating patterns, and higher serum vitamin D level."

Even though the study is rather vague regarding calcium use (amount, type, frequency) and only shows correlation not causation, given the dramatic increase in CVD incidence, CVD mortality, and all-cause mortality AND given the significant benefit of supplementing with calcium I'D BE SURE TO FIX MY DIABETES AND TAKE CALCIUM. Of course, the biomedical camp can't fix diabetes, therefore they are going to bad mouth taking calcium rather than bad-mouthing their clinical capabilities.
